skhdvm
My husband has been trying to raise adult brine shrimp in quantities to be able to sell at local fish store. He has a degree in aquaculture and tried setting up a greenhouse system but is having some successes but also some system crashes. I heard Cory talking on a live stream the other day about his experiences . I am hoping someone can provide us with some references for any research papers or other sources we could use for additional information. 🙂 Thank you! modified lung
I used to grow out thousands of them in a 75 gal tanks, 30-35 ppt salinity using Instant Ocean, 78-82°F. Tanks were fed 3-9 oz Reef Nutrition RGComplete everyday. Yeast can be used too but that's always a risk with the CO2. Or water poured from oatmeal soaked over night. They've been over fed if the water gets too turbid to see less than 7-8 inches down. Lots of aeration is important. The main reason for crashes is oxygen issues. Ammonia doesn't really affect them much.
