He says (pretty much) that the strips were never designed or tested for saltwater so no one really knows. I know that’s not an answer but I have the strips, a freshwater fish room and a 300g reef tank. So I’ve tried them. The strips don’t tell me the Calcium or Alkalinity so they aren’t helpful there. Then I have to use a Hanna checker for low range nitrates since the strips won’t register a number like 5 or 10. I guess it would depend on what your trying to test though.
