euscsey58
I am just getting back into fish keeping and I have a 10 gallon Topfin Fascinate aquarium. I went with the tall, smaller footprint (12" x 12") because of real estate space on my desk. I am wanting to put some real plants in tank but I am not sure if the lights that come in the top is sufficient to grow any plants. Even the low light plants might struggle because of the height of the tank. The lights are about 18 inches from the substrate. I don't have the equipment to measure the output. I am looking to see if anyone has used this tank and could weigh in on the thought of introducing live plants.
FrozenFins
Anubius and Java Fern will should do Beyond fine in that tank! Some Hornwort also wouldn't be a bad idea to fill in the back. You could also glue the anubias/ java fern onto a peice of hard scape so that its closer to the light. Hornwort will grow just fine without a tank light, so that should be fine.
