I have enjoyed being in the hobby for 45+ years, started around age 8 with a 10 gallon!   I have kept fresh water fish; played, for a for years with salt. but find my true joy in a planted tank!   The hobby is a joy to me and I love how it allow us to form relationships with people that we might not other wise meet.  The comonality that fish keeping and aqua scaping brings us together in a way few thing can.  Curently I enjoy a 150gal rainbow tank and a wall off 40's displayed in my home; many more but thats for a diffent post.
