Hi! This is my oranda goldfish that I got a month ago. He’s slowly been changing color ever since I took him home but recently it became very noticeable and more severe. He has been in a 55 gallon with another goldfish and some dojo loaches during this time. I’ve been trying to do a fish-in cycle in that tank by putting in 5x the dose of seachem prime (the max the bottle says is safe) to try and detoxify the ammonia until it’s cycled to keep them safe. Could this be ammonia burn or is it something else? I just took him out of that tank and put him in a 10 gallon with perfect water parameters so I could get a better look at him. The first three pictures are from today, the next two are from November 12th, and the last one is from October 20th when I first took him home. My other goldfish and loaches seem to be completely fine.
These are the current water parameters of the 55 gallon (there is 5x the normal dose of seachem prime in it right now)
Ammonia: 4.0 ppm
Nitrite: 0 ppm
Nitrate: 5.0 ppm
pH: 7
Temp: 70°F
