Does the 1st picture look like it is close to .25ppm nitrite. I’ve never seen what an actual .25 ppm look like. But it’s clear in the 2nd picture that my tap water has 0ppm nitrite.
Hey @Colu. How much water change would you recommend if there’s elevated nitrite or even ammonia in the water? I just tested my tank water and measured 0.25ppm of nitrite in it.
@Coluoh man! Oh well. I think I’ll just give up on this. To be honest, I’ve exhausted all my resources already and no longer capable to spend. I’ll just leave them alone and whatever happens to them, so be it. Anyway, thanks for all the tips.
@ColuI don’t think it’s a poop. It literally like a tiny string attached in its anus that doesn’t go away since the first time I spotted it 4 weeks ago. Yeah, the fish eats a lot and doesn’t look like it’s losing weight. So I guess, I’ll stop worrying for now.
@GatorI do have live plants with algae growing on them. But I also have veggie pellets that I feed to my fish regularly. Do you think that would provide roughage?
I’ve been seeing this white string hanging in the fish butt for 4 weeks already. I already treated my tank with paracleanse(2 times) and expel-p(3 times) and still doesn’t go away.
