Hello everyone! I am new to the forum I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself as I’m looking forward to becoming part of this nice community! I have been keeping fish since early this year after being introduced to the hobby by an ex of mine a long time ago. We had got a tank together and I just this year (after 4 or 5 years going by) remembered how much I had enjoyed keeping fish. He was really into the hobby and taught me a bit so I went out and bought a tank this year which is still going strong. It’s a 36 gallon (Deep) I forget what it’s called, it’s more tall than a normal tank, bowfront that I keep topless in my bedroom. I also have a bunch of smaller tanks including a ten gallon, two five gallons, and many other smaller miscellaneous tanks that I use for various purposes. I LOVE gourami, they are by far and away my favorite species and I keep maybe 5 or 6 varieties. They make up my main stock. My favorite subspecies also by far is the honey goursmi, even though as I get into them they seem to have quite a few variations within that subspecies. I also keep and enjoy live bearers, and bettas. Basically I love any anabantoids. I have already successfully bred nearly every fish I have. I also go hard with the live plants. I keep about 10 or so varieties and I’m always expanding and trying to learn and do more with my tanks. Anyway not to be too long winded I hope to learn some things on here and maybe meet a few like minded individuals! 🙂
Also ethically speaking I do overstock my tanks I hope that doesn’t offend. ;x
ALSO ALSO- I DO BREED MY HONEY GOURAMIS anyone interested I would be willing to ship them as they mature at cost for materials. 🙂
