Nitrites and ammonia stay at 0ppm and no fuzziness just look bigger than normal

So I recently noticed my Hawaiian platy had some whitish coloring to it's lips and they looked a little swollen. It's eating and acting fine. But a previous fish I bought that had the same thing died. Not sure what it is so I'm looking for an answer to what the disease is and how to treat. I was unable to get a clear picture sorry. My water paramiters are...
Ph 7.6
Kh 5°
Gh 9°
Nitrate 20-30ppm
Temperature 77

I have a 55 gal and I've been struggling with the leaves on my alternanthia curling. I dose easy green 2 times a week, easy iron 2 times a week, and potassium 2 times a week. I keep nitrates around 20ppm kh is 5° gh is 9° and ph is 7.4 to 7.6. All the other plants seem to be doing fine minus some pin holes in the the potassium hogs. But I'm at a loss it's been about 6 months now and can't figure it out. Also I do not run CO2. I've been racking my brain. I've basically become a chemist/biologist with the amount of research I've done. Please HELP ME

Hi everyone, I'm Dustin greetings from Wisconsin. Glad to be here and able to talk some fish. I've been in the hobby for almost a year now. I'm currently breeding variatus platies and green corydoras. Here's one of my 2 tanks. Still figuring some fertilizing out, there than that everything's going great.
