Nitrites and ammonia stay at 0ppm and no fuzziness just look bigger than normal

So I recently noticed my Hawaiian platy had some whitish coloring to it's lips and they looked a little swollen. It's eating and acting fine. But a previous fish I bought that had the same thing died. Not sure what it is so I'm looking for an answer to what the disease is and how to treat. I was unable to get a clear picture sorry. My water paramiters are... Ph 7.6 Kh 5° Gh 9° Nitrate 20-30ppm Temperature 77

I have a 55 gal and I've been struggling with the leaves on my alternanthia curling. I dose easy green 2 times a week, easy iron 2 times a week, and potassium 2 times a week. I keep nitrates around 20ppm kh is 5° gh is 9° and ph is 7.4 to 7.6. All the other plants seem to be doing fine minus some pin holes in the the potassium hogs. But I'm at a loss it's been about 6 months now and can't figure it out. Also I do not run CO2. I've been racking my brain. I've basically become a chemist/biologist with the amount of research I've done. Please HELP ME

I'm currently breeding variatus platies and green corydoras. Here's one of my 2 tanks. Still figuring some fertilizing out, there than that everything's going great.
