  1. Congrats RyanU. I too just had a few clutches on my tank. I intend to let Nature take it’s course and not interfere to see the survivor rate. So far there are three clutches and don’t want to be overwhelmed. I have my main tank of 75 gallons that I will eventually relocate the babies to but for now the clutches will hatch in a 9 gallon Fluval Flex with one betta. I am hoping the betta will leave the hatchlings alone.

  2. I have an outdoor mini pond with a few comet goldfish. Lucky bamboo and Ribbon plants. I keep the water filter running around the clock but the lighting on only a few hours. Been noticing bubbles on the surface. Do goldfish make bubble nests like bettas?

  3. Before I discovered Aquarium Co-Op I was purchasing plants from other sources. I believe the plant in question was purchased from PetSmart. However looking at the receipt for the name of this plant was no help. Would you please help me with identifying this plant. I would like to purchase more. Of course, this time from Aquarium Co-Op.

  4. Today 05/10/2021 observed my first clutch. It’s an exciting day for me. My wife opened the lid to the tank to get a better view. Doing so we found that the clutch split apart. I hope they will still hatch safely. What should I do next?  How long before they hatch?

  5. I just had a thought on trying to identify the male and female mystery snails I have in my tank. I have not had any luck getting the snails to come out of the shell well enough to sex the snail. I read and have seen some videos that state only male snails will mount another snail even if that snail is also male. Please correct me if that’s wrong. If that’s true, a female will never mount another. That being said, I was thinking I could use a permanent marker pen and write a “1” or some other small mark on snails I observed mounting another until all 6 of my snails in the tank are identified. Please give me your thoughts on marking the shells. If you have a better idea please share. Keep in mind I have not marked any snail at this time.

  6. Added a few more snails to the mix hoping at least one female is now in the tank. Within a day they all have “grouped up”. I’m a bit concerned at the twitching behavior. Is this normal during mating or this a bit of aggressiveness.  They seem to group up a lot.

I tried to attach a video to show but it’s too large to upload so I will just attach a photo. Basically I’m concerned about the snails twitching sided to side as if it’s trying to shake the mounted snail off its back.

  7. OMG. I got a reply from Cory himself 😁😁. Thank you very much. I’m a big fan. Watch your YouTube videos for advice all the time. This was my third order. I probably was too excited each time when receiving the items that I did not see the plant card. I did however enjoy receiving the free fish decal stickers. I assume I can discard pellets then.

    Thank you

  8. I recently purchased a Fluval Flex 9 gallon for my betta. It came with Bio media and carbon. I was watching a video from KGTropicals on his review of the Fluval Flex. He mentioned that because he has a planted aquarium he will not be using the carbon filter. I too have a planted tank so I wanted to verify if the carbon filter should be removed.
