The second round of Kanaplex in food (Kanaplex+Focus) seems to have taken care of this.

Did you figure this out? I have a new Boesemani rainbow that has a similar lump. I've done a full course of ParaGuard and Kanaplex. He originally had another lump that was more red, but it went away very quickly with the Kanaplex treatment. He seems to have a normal appetite and no unusual behaviors.
