Well the pleco died just a bit ago. I have another lemon pleco, she wasn't so washed out, but same raised spots all over her fins. Maybe the ich killed the first one or the treatment? Idk, they were far gone... I have the 2nd lemon pleco in treatment now. I just really wish I had some good pictures of, specifically, young lemon plecos with ich. There is too much info "could be ich. Could be epistylis..." I really don't want to lose this last one.

My breeding pair are absolutely insane! I am doing lots of moving around right now and have a tank that has a divider in there so my male on one side and female on the other. JUST until I get everything sorted and tanks moved/fixed/healed/all the crazy business. Their fry are like a month old maybe. He sees her on the other side and starts building a nest but I figure it's okay, they can't get to each other. Nope. NOPE!! She is brewing those eggies and releasing them NEXT TO THE DIVIDER the water flow is carrying them over... I just... what the hello kitty. And Kaluse is picking them up and like just waiting and searching for them on the ground, and popping them up in his nest! She did it twice in two days. I'm moving her today because oh my golly, I've never seen them do this before. I've had breeding tanks. She's just like "divider? What divider? - we are having babies lady."

Just popping in to say hello 😊 this is my betta male (Klaus Heisler) and female (Merlin) giving that betta hug 🤭 and all of their beautiful little babes. (Fry 1 - Fry 74) all are doing well. My qt tank is a whole other story and feeling like I'm losing my whole mind. Trying to transition everything to a 30 gallon for my main area of living and keeping my 4 other tanks (5-10 gallons) in my office. So, hello☺️

P.S. they all look so bad at petco and I said something like "hey, these babes look a little sick... sad... something is wrong. All their fins are clamped. Also all of your Oscar tank has ich 100%." And he said "oh yeaaaaah, that tends to happen to them." 🤨 I would have bought all the lemon plecos bc they're my new favorite fish, and beautiful, like flying freaking sunshine with giant wings 😆 but at Petco they charge about $30 for sick fish. Giant ash-holes.

Got this little one the other day, didn't look great at pet store but was hoping I could nurse back to health - because I really wanted a lemon pleco. Now seems it may have ich, definitely not doing well. If it is ich what is best treatment? I see a lot of people recommend ich-x but have to order, coukd take a day or 2, idk if they'll make it that much longer 😔 QT tank is planted, 74-76°F and I have suddenly had a nitrite spike in tank that was cycled so idk what I did but omg...it's all gone crazy.
