Oh yeah those tanks are beautiful. I had a tank setup for a year+ chemically treated. But I did transfer some rocks and let a new sponge filter run in there for about a week before I did soil sand and plants. I'm not sure how lol it'll take for my plants to establish. As I said earlier very new to planted tanks. I used Fluva stratum soil and a natural black sand. I've got micro fauna cultures on the way. I also used alot of plants from my brothers planted tank with some dead leaves 🍃.

Hello everyone new here and to the life. Just got done planting my tank with new soil. My ammonia is now at .50ppm wondering if I need to do a water change or the new plants will be taking care of this?
