  1. If you can I would put you platy in its own tank with lots of decor for the fry to hide in and as soon as she give birth put her back in her original tank so she docent eat them. If that's not a option get a breeder box with a lower section for the fry to hide in and remove the mother as soon as possible to keep her from eating them. If you have any other questions please ask.
  2. Ya she is defiantly pregnant.
  3. Look's like it. A picture from the side would help a lot.
  4. Oh ya, 300 gallon and he is not full grown.
  5. It was going to be a bass which is why I don't think it is going to work. I'll probably end up rescuing, one of those giant common pleco you see in the pet store tanks from fish trade-ins. If I decide to get a pleco again.
  6. I don't think it's a rubber lip from being able to see it up close and in person. And in some cases I agree for most people common pleco's are not a good choice. I got him originally to grow out to live with my predatory fish (I don't think that's going to happen). After looking it up I would actually would say he probably looks more like a spotted rubber nose than a common.
  7. It has it upside down for some reason.
  8. I'll try to get one he hide's all day. Is there something you are looking for?
  9. I have had my 4 inch common pleco for over 6 months now he has yet to grow even an inch. I have tried putting him in over 3 different tanks to see if there was something wrong with his tank for some strange reason. All my water levels are good I do frequent water changes. He has a good variety of different foods available to him(pretty much every thing I could find). I am wondering if he has some sort of dwarfism. Let me know what you think.
  10. You could try siphoning it as you scrape it of your tank's glass.
  11. Depending on the medication yo decided to use would determine, how long it will take, if you need to do water changes with the medication. How long have you been using the medication?
  12. You can, but it might not be enough.
