Dang, looks like I should have set up a QT tank. Looks like I'll be in this fight for good. Do you know how your friend won against it and how badly it affected his shrimps? My main idea right now involves using hydrogen peroxide according to this article in case the green fungus spreads to my shrimps.

I just recently had to isolate a cherry shrimp from the rest of the tank since it had green fungus. That got me thinking though: how prolific are its spores in aquariums? Is it like vorticella which is almost always present in the water column and only attacks shrimp when certain conditions are met? Regardless, I plan on doing partial water changes.
