  1. How many angels can I keep being that there is 12 other fish? Is it over stocked?
  2. Hello All. I've been thinking about stocking my 75 gallon tank with 5 Australian rainbowfish, 6 Boesemani rainbowfish, and 1 Featherfin catfish. Do you think a couple of angels could fit in? or is my tank over stocked and the angels are incompatible?
  3. For about a year now, I've been soaking fish food in a small bowl for around 10 minutes. And everyone seems to be eating well, but then I thought to my self, is it really necessary to soak it? I have Fluval Bug Bites and the granules are pretty hard. I also have Tetra Color Crisp and I thought it might be too hard to chew for the danios. I tried feeding them flakes (without soaking them) and they all ate it pretty well with no issues. I know its safe to feed them flakes dry but are the bug bites and crisp gonna cause them to bloat, and are they gonna be able to chew them? Thanks in advance. For a bit now, I've noticed every time I feed my fish, one of the rainbowfish swims to swim to the bottom of the tank, looking through the sand for food, but then after starts shimmying (just barely) then a few minutes later, swims to the top again and start acting normal. Is it alright, Is it something I have to worry about? Thanks for all answers. Ammonia 0 Nitrite 0 Nitrate 40ppm Ph 7.6 Kh 7
  4. Sense feeding the tank works just fine. I think I'll stick to that. Thanks!
  5. Not now, but I'm planning to. I don't have the fertilizers and plant tools yet. There's just sand in the tank
  6. If so, do I really need Fritz fishless fuel? My ammonia is only at 1 ppm and that is in the range of 1-3 ppm.
  7. Yes, I have test nitrite and nitrate. Their both at 0 ppm. It was recommended on a source to get the ammonia to at least 2 ppm cause if it was below 2 ppm the nitrogen cycle wouldn't work properly.
  8. Recently, I started cycling a 75 gallon aquarium. I added some fish food in there to kick start it. But when I tested the water, the ammonia was only at 0.50 ppm, then I added more food the next day, same thing. but eventually, it got to 1 ppm. But I need at least 2 ppm. It has been a few weeks and it is still at 1 ppm (after adding food of course). Any ideas why this could be happening? Thanks in advance.
  9. Thank you! I'll see if it works.
  10. The tetra still has an appetite. It has no problem eating or swimming towards food. But sources claimed that the fish can be under a lot of stress when they can't control their buoyancy. What do you recommend?
  11. Ph: 6.6 Ammonia: 0 Nitrite: 0 Nitrate: 20 GH: 5 KH: 3 Also. No, it is not glass surfing or swimming along the glass.
  12. Hello! One of my tetras randomly started swimming vertically up and down for about a month now. Still has appetite and eating well. I'm not sure what caused this. Does anyone know what could be the reason for this? Thank you in advance for all answers.
