Family member has a sick Betta,seems to a white growth coming from the gills, any ideas for how to fix it / was it is.

I added my pelco to my new planted tank and it keeps knocking up some of the plants is there anything to do to keep them in the ground

I just set up a aquarium and now I'm going to have to move I'm worried about the plants since they were just planted the tank Is down stairs so the plants have to come out to move it.

I ordered a nano air pump and a large sponge filter is the air pump not going to be able to pump the sponge filter
