That's what has me a little gun-shy but I have the RO unit from reefing and temps wouldn't be a problem either. Another issue is sourcing them. Some tetras would be neat as well. It's empty now but I was thinking a pile of rocks around the OF with plants and driftwood poking out That is an option as well.

Hi all, I have a 120 g reef tank and I am done with salt. I'm going to convert the sump to freshwater use but I need a nudge as far as tank residents. I've kept most common fish and mainly like cichlids. The only thing I don't want to do is African cichlids. I am torn between a few large central americans or discus but I could go planted community. What would you do?
