Anyone here from Mississippi? Looking to get a club going if there are enough people.

As the title suggests, I am looking to try and get a club going here that has regular meets. If you are from the Mississippi area, especially near central MS, would you be interested.  I would also love any advice on starting a club.

Have you checked for Facebook groups?

Is the a local fish store in the area? If so, that may be your best bet for trying to set up a club. They'll know the hardcore hobbyists in the area and they may even be willing to host meet ups.

Looks like the closest clubs to you would be in Arkansas or Louisiana

I have, there are a few that are located around the gulf coast. They are only buy/sell groups and skew towards saltwater.  Arkansas is  too far and Louisiana is a good 2 and a half hours. I was just hoping there would be a few around here that might be interested.
