KittenFishMom
When I first got my banana plant it sat obediently on the bottom. Now it is floating around the tank as it it doesn't have a care in the world. Is this a sign of a problem, like rot in the plant, or do I need to secure it in some way? Thanks

As they grow bigger leaves, they start to float. I have one in a new tank and it literally has a mind of its own. You could plant the roots in your substrate but no guarantees it won’t float up!
