Paul Rutigliano
Having a problem with hair algae. Pulling out as much as I can by hand. Lowered lighting to only 3 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening Still growing strong. Thinking to try east carbon. Lower water and spray it on the hair algae. Not shore if it would do more damage then good. I have a lot of plants. Most of them are Val. Few different types…. I read co2 can help. Don’t get how but I have it on another tank and all is is well n good. Tank is still new only a few months old I have a large sponge filter and an aqua clear 70 running. Tank is a 75 gal Lights are plant lights from lowes. The other tank is a 40 with a 3.0 on it. I do have plans to buy a 3.0 for the 75 but there not cheap. Lol. Any and all help will be Appreciated….thx again paul. By the way you guys at the coop are knocking it out of the park. Thanks again
CJs Aquatics
Do you happen to know the biggest factor contributing to your algae issue? For example is it light related? Nutrient related? Both?
