Humpback Limia Care and Tips

I am about to purchase some limia! Its a fish ive struggeled to locate for the past year. Its hard to find sellers that ship to canada.

So any tips before I complete this purchase?

I have a few options...

1) They can go be housed in my 20long. It doesnt have a lid, I read somewhere that they are jumpers. Is this true? My platys would probably have to move to the 40 breeder and live with the mollys. Mollys wouldnt breed with platys, correct? Eventually I would rehome the platys.

2) They can go in the 40 breeder that does have a lid and live with the mollys. I read that Goliad fish farms have bred mollys and limia together so maybe this isnt the best option as i just want limia fry, and just want molly fry. No in between

Any tips for breeding? or water parameters?

Select aquatics had a good care sheet that was helpful.

I haven't really noticed much jumping with my Limia nigrofasciata, but if you're concerned about it, add some floating plants. I would definitely not recommend keeping Limia and mollies together, due to the possibility of hybridization, but I don't think they'd hybridize with platies.
