Ben Mills
Does anyone know what this stuff on my walls is? How do I get rid of it?
gardenman
It could be a slime mold. Slime molds feed on the biofilm on glass. Getting rid of it is easy. It just goes away by itself. It can take a couple of weeks, but it'll just disappear and be gone.
demicent
I sometimes get this in my newly started tanks. It goes away by itself after a while, or once the tank is cycled I add some snails and they take care of it.

demicent
Bladder snails, Nerite snails, Ramshorn snails. The Nerites seem to love it.
