Thaks for the replies, thinging on leaving fish in and will put a hungon filter on till the sand settles down just to keep most out of the sump onof the built in filter system. Wife is wanting to get a variety of shrimp or some peapuffers in the tank.

I am thinking about removing the gravel from my 24 nano and replacing it with white sand. I have my hospital tank i can use to put the the fish for a couple of day if needed. An thoughts on this good or bad plan?

Ok, its not a seasonal tank. Did this one for fun. came across the frog at DT and had to put an airline in it to have bubbles coming out of its mouth.

xXInkedPhoenixX, this just started becouse i put a cheap pirate ship in for looks and then the wife found a package of mummies and said these could go with the ship. It waa all downhill from there.

Flumpweesel,  anything that makes the tank look festive works. Nice tank too

Wife wont let me setup the 70 gallon tank, so im useing my old hospital tank now.

Been doing tanks off and on for 30 years (mostly fresh water and couple of sailtwater). Now im looking into a planted tank. I have a Nano Cube 24 with Guppies, Mollies and a couple of Fiddler crabs.
