[Help! I suck at growing plants]

Like fish, our plants need to eat too. The fish waste alone should be enough to fertilize the moss and the anacharis. Though if you want significant growth (the forest look) and/or want to add more plants, you might want to introduce external fertilizers. With fish waste as the potential limiting factor, the plants will only grow with the available supply of food--in this case fish waste. Like me at ayce kbbq, I'll continue to eat and get big because the supply is endless. Our plants are the same ;) 

[What are your greatest aspirations as a fish keeper?]

Not that it's never been done before, but creating biotopes based on habitats in my native country is for sure an aspiration. The process of visiting the country for research and collecting purposes, while also spending time with family is such a complete package

[What stocking surprised you?]

It was corydoras for me. Before keeping cories, I avoided them b/c I saw them as derpy, chunky fish that hardly moved. A friend broke down his aquarium so I took in his fish--a school of peppered cories included. Welp, turns out I'm a fiend for derpy, chunky fish and to my surprise they're real active. I'll watch them school, go up/down the glass, and ram their faces into food. I've since purchased 4 other species. Love them cories
