[Breeding multiple plec species]

Hi everyone,

I'm currently re-scaping my four foot tank. I have a small group of L201s in there and I'm hoping to get them breeding eventually (I don't think they are big enough yet). I'd also like to keep a small group of panaques of a similar size with them if it's possible. 

I currently have them in their with a pair of snow white bristlenose that have been breeding like crazy. I'm wondering if it's likely for them to breed with ancistrus in the tank with them? Or if I should just stick to l201s and panaques, or just l201s on their own?

I've had them together a few days now and everything seems to be going great. Tempted to get some other plecos aswell now lol

Hi, 

Wondered if anyone knew what these are that have appeared in a small aquarium I have. There's no light on the tank it's set up on a windowsill that gets a little bit of direct sunlight. I had a lot of algae problems with it to start with but now that's gone away these have shown up. There are quite a few on the glass and there are others that are a bit bigger, but this is the best picture I can get. Never seen them before anyone know what they are and should I be worried?

[Keeping L number plecos and bristlenose plecos together]

Hi, 

I've got a small group of 4 snowball plecos coming . They will be going into a 4ft tank I have which is a tetra community tank. I know the snowballs won't really touch the algae so I wondered if I could also keep some bristlenoses with them from my other tanks?

I have seen some people do this but also hear they can be too territorial. Anyone have any experience of keeping them together?
