[Rainbow fish Identification]

Can you help me identify this rainbow fish? My LFS had these labeled as Deep River. After looking at photos on line they look like melanotaenia splendida. Can anyone more experienced with rainbow fish tell me what I have? I love them no matter what they are! Thanks

Snails are the reason my husband has become interested in my aquariums. He is just fascinated by them and enjoys watching their adventures around the tanks!

[Hello from the Chicago Area]

My pandemic project was starting up a 75 gal. tank. Altough have had tanks going since I was a kid( I am 50 + now), I have not had one in the last 8 years.  It is still difficult to be patient to wait for the tank to cycle and plants to take root! I will post some photos when everthing has settled in a bit more. This forum is already jammed packed with information, and I am looking forward to getting know all of you!
