Nerites are really great algae eaters but they leave little, hard, white eggs EVERYWHERE. Here's my 75 gallon for example:
Personally I really enjoy my pink ramshorns.
if only they could be sexed then all males would leave no eggs.

Which snails are better Nerite or Ramshorn?
I mean which snails are better for cleanup crew Nerite or Ramshorn? Thinking possibly breed Nerite and introduce exactly how many I wanted in a fresh water tank.

I just recently got some...the one on the left is the water onion (not sure which variant specifically). The one on the very bottom of the pic looks like I might be aponogeton. The central bulb I'm not sure. From my pack of bulbs I have the water onion growing, and 2 successful aponogeton growing and a 3rd one the just sprouted after being in the tank for 3 weeks. Unfortunately my angelfish is tearing my aponogeton up and I just moved it to the corner of y tank, otherwise it would look great. The pack said it came with water lily too. So I've had the bulbs in for under a month and the aponogeton has grown that fast. The water onion looks like a sprig but I expect more from it in the long run.
yes, thanks still wondering about the middle one.

The new Fluval lights are expensive but very cool how you can program from phone the android app works perfect you never have to touch the light control is wireless. Spectrum is perfect for plants or mood lighting. I bought mine from aq co op. You will never regret these lights other lights you may just end up upgrading later so why not get the best first. I remember the days of metal halide and sodium lighting and these lights have revolutionized aquarium plant lighting.

Since they are difficult to propagate it seems like you just have to collect them or buy them from a store like aq, co-op.
