I use to have a place up by Canada. Black lake was a cabin right on the lake. That was more then a few years ago but still want to get back up there one day.

I like the idea of a canister filter I may have to reinvest sometime back into this project. I would need the ability to move to multiple tanks which complicate the build a bit.

I just posted about this in the "What's your dream aquarium product" forum. its an idea i got from Cory over at MAB. A power vacuum that returns the water to the tank after it has been filtered.

See this is what I was going to say but i knew it had to be posted prior. I did try to make one it work but not as powerful as id like it to be but I'm working on it. I got the idea from Cory from MAB, he set the bar on the project I'm just trying to raise it a bit he has it in a two part DIY which really made me dive into the hobby deeper i love doing DIY projects and trying to figure out ways to do things

Hello name is Bob, Rew is a nickname I’ve had forever. I live in not so upstate New York. I’ve been in the hobby for years now wife calls it the obsession, I call a passion! Went from one 30 gallon to 37 tanks from 10g to 125g. I keep mostly goodied, some Angelfish, various Barb’s, Bettas as well as Kribensis. Just in the past month finished the fish shed for most of the tanks and pond with a greenhouse. Nothing but projects here.
