Some basics would be, did you clean the glass before attaching it? Any algae or scuzz on the glass will compromise the stick. Maybe wipe off the suction cuts with your fingers and scrape the glass where you are gonna stick it?

Thanks Cory. I checked everything and maybe my cord had too much backward force on it, if that makes sense. I cleaned everything well and reattached with less force on the cord. Fingers crossed! I assume you didn’t see any issues like this in testing. Besides this issue, I love the profile, size, and the look of the heater.

I’m having the same issue. Cleaned the glass free of whatever and wiped down the suction cups. Still comes off the glass. Any ideas?

I’ve been having the same issues with the heater coming off the glass every two days. I hope Cory sees this and responds.

  3. Hi all,

I have an established 55 gallon community tank with good water parameters. Zero ammonia and nitrite, 10-20 nitrate. I have 7 leopard danios as part of the community. One has been bloated like this for about 4-6 weeks. She acts normal and eats everyday. None of my other danios are like this. Any thoughts on what’s going on?

    Thanks,

    Dean

It could be a fungal infection Treat with aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 2 gallons for 5days if no improvement I would treat with API fungus cure and maracyn

Would you treat the whole tank with aquarium salt or quarantine? It’s 55 galllons.

He comes out to eat but often hides the rest of the day. I noticed that the large female gold dust mollies that I have often chase him around and bother him. This has been going on for over a month. He doesn’t have spots like Ich and he doesn’t have fuzzy growth. Just a white film on his body especially behind his head. What do you think this is?  All other fish (around 30) in the community tank are fine.

    pH 8.2

    GH 75 KH 300

    Ammonia and nitrite - 0

    Nitrate - 10-20

    Water temp is 77 F

    Thanks for your help.
