A week ago my air stone had a failure. It came disconnected and created a siphon pulling 2 ish gallons of water out from the tank and inside the cabinet. One of the supporting sides of the cabinet expanded with the water and I am now question the structural integrity. It is a 29 gallon aquarium. This is the standard I have:
https://www.petsmart.com/fish/tanks-aquariums-and-nets/aquarium-stands/top-fin-aquarium-stand--20-to-37-gallon-64312.html
it says it holds up to a 37 gallon aquarium in weight, but I’ve got some pretty big heavy stones in here, so I'm probably close. I took 5 G of water out to try and make it less heavy.
What would you all do? But a new stand? I’m worried this stand is going to collapse after being softened. Really frustrated with this cheap wood bs…
