Got the tank planted. Couldn’t find S. Repens at my LFS still. I will order some from the coop.

This tank is a 45 cm(17.7”) cube. The back 3 inches or so is the filtration.

Hey, thanks for the tip. I tried to find some decent looking dragon stone locally but came up short. My plant at the moment is to fill that area with some S. Repens.

If you have enough wood and rock I’d bring it right up to the surface, but if not then it looks great as is, and you can let the plants fill in the extra space. 

The plan is definitely to get some height from the background plants. I have some Rotala Rotundafolia in quarantine at the moment that I envesion forming a back wall to the surface.

I am currently setting up a 24 gallon AquaTop cube tank.

Here it is in the process of leak testing.

 

Finally got in my substrate today and am working on getting the hardscape setup in a way that I like.

Would love some feedback on the hardscape!

I have been lurking for awhile around here and am looking to get back into the hobby. I am currently in the process of setting up a new tank. I'll start a journal so I can document the process. I would love some feedback on the hardscape!
