Great choice. A lot of moss is always good for shrimps.

Somehow i've seem to be the only person in the world that isn't able to keep Java moss alive though.
But i've learned that there are a lot of different mosses with all different ways of growing.
So mixing up moss in a tank or replacing one thats not working is a lot of fun as well!

For shrimp tanks Anubias nana is nice as well. Doesn't grow as big as some of the other anubias plants.

Your English was just fine and thank you.

I am starting my first venture into keeping shrimp. I have a 3 gallon cube. I am getting ready to order some plants and would like some recommendations from the forum as to what might work the best. I want the shrimp to be happy, but do not want to struggle to see them either. I really do not care about them breeding, but it would be a nice plus if they did.

Thanks to those that have responded. I have decided to start out with the Java Moss, which I have been wanting to try anyway, and the Anubias Barteri.

    Wishing all a great weekend!!

  4. This is the first time that I have started a topic and hope that I am doing it right. I have a 75 gallon planted aquarium that I love, but unfortunately I still want more. Probably a crutch for most that are here. I like a variety and now want to include three 20 gallon tanks. One for a turtle, one for frogs, and one for shrimp. I believe that I want to start with an aquatic turtle and this is where my problem and question comes to light. Is there an aquatic turtle that can be comfortable in a 20 gallon tank??

Appreciate any insight with not only the turtle, but the setup.

Wow! It is hard to beat the $40 Bill paid for his rack at Home Depot. Looks like Bill's rack is rated at just over 1000 lbs. If you need something to hold a little more, some of these racks rate up to 2500 3200 lbs.

They also cost more than $40 🙂

These would be worth the extra money just for the comfort of knowing how much weight they can hold.
