@WhitecloudDynasty Yay - I personally like the black dot/line, it adds some interest and can be seen from across the room. However, I do prefer a more pure golden color along the body, had a school awhile back that had some fairly dark coloration. Meh.

Either way though I love golden white clouds so much, I'd accept pretty much any variation lol !

Just pulled mine from the pond over the weekend and they turned out to have quite a bit of variation. Some with very dark markings (spotted to almost full dark line) and some with very little spotting. I will say, I really like the look of the solid gold, but the others have character. I love White clouds so much it's really hard to say that I like one more than the other. Such great fish! ❤

I have a clean golden on the other side of this family, bottom photo

Maybe I'll turn them all black with red fin? It would be fun.
