Dino Tamer
I live in Southern California and currently have a 10 gallon tank. I’ve been looking into different tanks and sizes recently. I’ve decided on either a 29 gallon or a 30 regular. Was wondering if there was any specific locations/websites to acquire a tank of these sizes? Or just go down to my local fish store? H.K.Luterman
As far as I know 29 gallon tanks are easy to find at any local big box store. I've never seen a 30 gallon, but a specialty fish store might have them in stock.

Edited March 26, 2021 by Frank I was wrong the first time.
Dwayne Brown
I personally found the bestway if you just want a regular aquarium is to get a starter kit from petco or petsmart. I got a 29 gallon starter kit saved me a lot of money on lighting and heater I did end up replacing the hob with a sponge filter but all in all a starter kits a solid choice.
Patrick_G
The big box has cheap tanks, but it’s worth a trip to a LFS to check out options. Call around first because some shops lean more towards fish/plants and some have more tanks and equipment.
Maggie
Aqueon makes a 29 gallon usually available at big box or LFS. It fits on a 20-gallon long stand but is taller.
