Joey_Jojo Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 Hi folks, I'll do the whole introduction on my second post, but for now I'm concerned about my fish. I'll link a detailed video below. Basically, my poor tetra's face seems to be falling off! I'm not sure if it's disease, because this seems to have happened in a matter of hours. But if it's not disease, I'm at a loss. There are no "aggressive" species in the tank, and my parameters are all normal. Any help is appreciated 🙂
Colu Posted March 23, 2021 Posted March 23, 2021 It looks like a broken jaw it probably swim in to something in the tank I don't think it will recover you might won't to think about euthanizeing him
Joey_Jojo Posted March 23, 2021 Author Posted March 23, 2021 Yeah I had a feeling he wouldn't be able to make it looking like that. Suffice to say he wasn't much interested in eating. But man... I really can't imagine that happening by just banging into something...
Colu Posted March 23, 2021 Posted March 23, 2021 It's difficult to no for sure how it injured it's self they can get startled and swim into things I had a fish kill it's self by swiming into the glass it does happen
