Norbert the Magic Dragon Posted March 22, 2021 Share Posted March 22, 2021 My two gold fishes got internal parasite, thy are in hospital tank. Removed carbon for medication only active in air pump. Can I use Purigen and Bio Rings to the hospital tank filer system instead of carbon. I want to make sure Purigen and Bio Ring are not like Carbon effect. Purigen® can be used alongside most supplements and types of filtration media, but is capable of removing some types of medication from the water. ... I want to add some type of filer and yet do not want to remove medication. What do you recommend for hospital tank filer system. Thanks in advance.
