Fahad
Hello. Need help identifying these small yellow balls in my shrimp tank. I saw these appear a couple of weeks ago and ignored it. Now they've turned translucent. I took one out and it squished like an egg. They are bigger than shrimp eggs so I don't they any shrimp would have dropped it. It's an open tank so I guess an insect must have laid eggs?
Daniel
Those look like the time released fertilizer pellets that come with new plants. 2
Brian
Yes could be fertilizer. By chance did you buy tissue culture plants? Sometimes they come in that gel like stuff.
Fahad
Actually yes. I recently added tissue culture monte carlo and hair grass. Also, I added Flourish and API root tabs. That could be it. So I buried it back in the sand. Thank you Daniel & Brian.
