DLBELL1969
I'm getting ready to start a new planted aquarium. I've watched videos that show people layering root tabs on a bed of substrate and covering them over with more material before adding water. It seems like a good way to get a nice bed of nutrients in the substrate to begin with. I'm curious to know if there's any issues with doing it this way. I've never used root tabs and not sure if there's any issue with useing too many at one time.
DShelton
This is how I have previously added them to my new tanks, and there is no issue in doing so, but also no real difference in just using tweezers to add them after water is in the tank.
