gardenman Posted March 16, 2021 Share Posted March 16, 2021 It's called pearling. When plants are happy, actively growing, and feeling good, they pearl. (They'll also pearl sometimes when none of that is happening and there just happens to be a lot of dissolved gases in the water, like after a big water change.) As a general rule though, it's a good thing. Plants pull in CO2 and exhale oxygen.
