Cole
Picked up my first two badis this last weekend the male of course was easy to pick. I took my best shot at a female from what I could tell. But I’m not sure if it’s female. I’m hoping it’s not a sub dominate male. I’ll try to get better pictures of them. Phone didn’t want to focus on them haha. OceanTruth
Good luck with the pair. Never kept them, so I don’t know how to sex them. Definitely on my future fish list though. Beautiful tiny fish.
Eric R
I've never been able to get a pair myself, females are almost never wild collected because they are drab, and unfortunately they don't seem to be offered often by breeders. I've read that you can separate the female/subdominant male and see if it colors up. I've also read that if there is any blue or iridescence, especially on the pelvic fins, they are most likely males.
