Juan colin
This may sound wierd but i need help with growing green algae on rocks.I think this would give my aquarium a more natural look I had an idea but i dont know if it will work.i think that if i grab a rock and put it in a container with water with direct sunlight it will grow algae on the rock but im not sure. OceanTruth
That should work if it’s with water from your tank. I pulled a rock from my tank and left it to dry outside. I forgot about it and a couple of days later it was covered in green. It was actually quite pretty.
Jungle Fan
Depending on what type you want, you could always collect some rub it on the rock and then let it sit in a tub in direct sunlight with ferts added. Problem is usually not getting it, but keeping it limited to where you want it.
