rigonzalez6
Hello everyone I started a new 10 gallon tank and I was finally excited to start things off right and cycle the tank fishless and correcting all my beginner mistakes made on my main tank. i started the tank put a sponge filter I was cycling in my main tank and squeezed that out to let all that brown gunk out. I then proceeded to ghost feed every day to get the ammonia going. No heater was present when this started but I have since added one. a few days later I get what looks like white fungus growing on the left over food particles. Can anyone confirm this is in fact white fungus and also is this normal in a fish less tank since there is nothing to eat the food? What did I do wrong?!?
