Blood parrot and goldnugget pleco in a 53 gallon

I am looking to add south american cichlids to a 53 gallon with blood parrot and goldnugget pleco the demensions of the tank are 100 cm length x height 50 cm x width 40 cm i have a canister filter that does 264 gallons an hour i do water changes once a week  but willing to do more if necessary thanks

Given that bp's get pretty large, I would suggest some smaller cichlids such as rams, Bolivian rams, larger apistos and such.   You might also be able to fit an angelfish or acara but things could get tight over time.
