laferme Posted March 2, 2021 Share Posted March 2, 2021 (edited) I have a 30 gal tank ,gravel filter ,with air returns on each end of tank,,,,,also bio air sponge in center of tank,,,,,,,got a great deal on a 4x Fluval canister,so I went with it (large for tank).My ? is do I have too much water flow with for size of tank? If you can post a video, that would make everything a bit easier to visualize. I'd guess it all depends on what you want to stock the tank with. If you wanted to do a cold water, native tank with . . . say . . . rainbow shiners and Darters, they'd probably be in fish heaven with tons of flow and air! 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Yanni Posted March 2, 2021 Share Posted March 2, 2021 This sounds like a LOT of flow, I don't think you need all that filtration and flow. The canister filter on its own should be fine.
