Aubrey
I was browsing my local pet store and came across a brine shrimp hatchery that was half price. I have never hatched brine shrimp before so I figured I'd give it a shot, but the low price was due to the eggs expiring in 2018. Does anyone think that they will produce anything? Administrators Cory Posted February 28, 2021 Administrators Share Posted February 28, 2021 I bet you'll still get some. It won't be a high yield, but brine shrimp eggs are incredibly resilient.
Aubrey
Thanks for the reply Cory. I'll probably be placing an order for ACO eggs if these don't work out. I figure it's time I up my nerm cred in this aspect of the hobby.
Aubrey
So after about 40 hours some did hatch. I started them on Saturday around 3PM and and I turned off the air today, Monday, around 8AM. It looks like there are a lot more eggs than hatchlings. Now I just need to figure out how to net them. Do I get my bbs merit badge now? Edited March 1, 2021 by Aubrey
