Discus and Rainbowfish together? Temperature?

What do you all think? Is it possible to keep them together, and what would be the ideal temp for them? I have heard that food competition might be a problem, but if I pay attention to that, I should be okay, right?.

I don't have much experience with rainbowfish but planning to get some soo. For discus and rainbows I think they should be alright. I have had discus before and they are so much fun. For the experience I do have I can tell you that for me, discus stay relatively peaceful except during spring breeding season. I would want to keep an eye on them for a while but you will most likely be fine. For a temperature I would recommend around 82 F. Hope this helps!
