b_ball34
What would you guys consider to be the minimum tank size for a decent group of them? Thanks
Andy's Fish Den
Depending upon what you consider a decent sized group of them, I would say for 6, a 40 breeder and if more, say like 10-12, I'd go with at least a 55 gallon. I have never kept them myself, but did get them in occasionally at a LFS i have worked at in the past. They are not too big, but are very active, so need some swimming room. I would keep as large a group as you can, because it will help keep down any fighting amongst the group and any cannibalistic behaviors.
Colu
They have a nasty habit of attacking weaker fish and biting there eyes out so the bigger the tank the better the larger the group the more aggression will be spread out Edited February 24, 2021 by Colu
