aquarium stories

so i was inspire by this thread 

what are your aquarium stories 

mine so i was doing my normal 40% water change on my old ten gallon so I use ro water diluted with tap since we have very high hardness but my ro filter is upstairs and are stairs is like a ladder seriously its not fun with a 2 gallon bucket of water so 2 things happend during this water change first i spilled almost all of the bucket second I used seachem nitrogen instead of prime 😞 all except for one cherry shrimp(they are 6$ each at my lfs and I had 5 and I was 12 so 24$ was a lot) died my fish seemed fine though

also me and someone at my lfs tell each other the same story without realizing we have already told it

When I was 12 I went to science camp if you don’t know want that is it is basically a place where you go and learn about nature things usually anyways I had my mom taking care of my fish and the only thing she did was feed them at the time a had a 29 gallon with around 7 electric yellow chiclids and one Decided to kill all the others so when I got back they where all dead even the ones that did the killing due to the amount of ammonia that was so high it went off the chart and my room smelled absolutely horrible
