Kat_Rigel
Interesting article regarding a study showing that guppies can defer gratification. Pretty short; would be interested to see more. https://www.irishexaminer.com/property/homeandoutdoors/arid-40222514.html?type=amp  Btw, not sure why Google decided to give me an article from the Irish Examiner. 🤷‍♀️
CorydorasEthan
Cool article! I'm just wondering how the one guy could not successfully breed guppies...
Tetra Guy
I noticed this with mollies I wanted to rehome from a planted tank.  They quickly learned to avoid the net.  Then they learned to avoid food I put near the net to trap them.  Then they learned to run and hide as soon as  they saw me in the room.  Eventually used a baited bottle trap to get them out.  The next time I moved mollies, I wised up and used their intelligence against them.  Patiently trained them that net = food.  Took a week or so of passively dipping the net in at feeding time until they swam into the net on their own.  Fish ain’t dumb, when it comes to doing fish things!
